$41 million regional wastewater treatment facility breaks ground Wednesday

Designed to reduce phosphorus levels to 0.1 milligram per liter, The Northwest Arkansas Conservation Authority plans to break ground Wednesday on its new $41 million (3.6 million gallons-per-day) regional wastewater treatment facility. The groundbreaking is at 10 a.m. approximately 2 miles south of the Northwest Arkansas Regional Airport, just south of where South Hendrix Road meets Snavely Road.
